I released an updated copy of my Hallelujah Chorus Ringtone today, the “Real Rockin Hallelujah Chorus Ringtone.” I added some drums to the outro! You can download the iPhone ringtone file on my music store page. I have the full arrangement and recording of my version of the Hallelujah Chorus completed! And the single will be released via CD Baby in time for Easter….so stay tuned. Here’s the video.

I must have listened to more Christmas music this year than normal, plus we attended the Seattle Symphony’s concert of Handel’s Messiah because I got inspired to do some recording. During the holiday down time (does that really exist anyway?) I got to work doing my own pop/rock arrangement and instrumentation of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus. Most of the tracking is completed, but I haven’t gotten into the mixing phase yet. But I think even without that it is sounding pretty good. Here is a snippet, the final few bars everyone loves as a ringtone in case you want to add it to your phone in anticipation of the complete release. You like?
I wish this could be on the cover of a 33 rpm LP, but I don’t have the budget for that and on top of that, this song is getting released as a single anyway. But you can always dream. So here’s the art for the cover of my new single, “I Need You”. Also, here is a link to the I Need You ringtone taken from the song.
