Aloha!
You are now on my Ukulele Fretboard page. On this page you can learn the name and location of all of the notes on the fretboard as they are laid out on the ukulele. Once you know the notes it will help you in understanding and forming chords. The better you know the instrument you are playing the better you can be and the more you can play. It might take some time but the effort will be worth it.
The first picture shows you the basic parts of the ukulele fretboard starting with the headstock and tuning pegs, the nut which helps keep the strings evenly spaced across the fretboard and determines along with the bridge how high the string are from the fretboard, the fretboard and frets. The fretboard has markers or dots typically at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 12th frets.

This next picture shows all of the notes on each string on the fretboard. There are a variety of tunings used on the ‘uke, but I have mine tuned to gCEA tuning, sometimes called entrant tuning. There is a PDF you can download of this one too.
Also, here are a few tunes I recorded that include me playing my ukulele. Please Click here to check out the rest of my music! Thanks! 🙂
